...heard from me, it's because I had an unexpected medical situation and am still in recovery-mode (actually, this makes the THIRD unexpected medical situation for my family this year... we're pretty tapped out, y'all. We're entering sleep mode.).

...emailed me, why not?

...ordered your copy of The Seed Song, today's a great day for that!

...left a review on Amazon, Good Reads, Library Thing, etc., etc., etc., let's just cross that off your to-do list today, also.

...caught onto this yet, the next book in The Momma Heidi Series tells the tale of a mischievous broom twiggy reindeer and will again feature the incredible watercolors of Hiruni Kariyawasam. Get ready, folks!

...noticed, it IS actually summer now. Even in the U.P. of Michigan! In fact, we have tomatoes and peppers growing eagerly as Little Lady and I (and sometimes even CW) sing our Seed Song over them.

...felt blessed lately, text, call, or email me - I've got just the thing.

In the meantime, CW and I are working on a few other projects that we're so excited to bring to you in the coming years. Bear patiently with us, as these are not Saturday Poem type renderings; these are gut-wrenching endeavors and will be worthy of your bookshelf. (Did you notice the part where I got CW invested in writing with me???? Hehehehe.)

A quick update on A Sea of Lilacs: As you may know, we committed to donating all proceeds (for always) to organizations that support folks battling Lewy Body Dementia and their caregivers. We are delighted to share that CW and I were able to match all 2025 proceeds, and the total of the two was matched by a third party. That means our proceeds for 2025 were QUADRUPLED! For 2025, this donation was sent (along with a copy of the book) to the Lewy Body Association for the amazing work they do to support patients, families, caregivers, and the much-needed research that will help improve diagnoses and treatments in the future. Well done, everyone! Thank you so much for supporting this endeavor! We have a handful of organizations we'll donate proceeds to for 2026. If you've been touched by a hospice organization or another group that has supported your family during loss and grief and you'd like them to be considered as a recipient, please reach out to me. If you still need to order a copy, you can find it wherever books are sold, or purchase on my bliggity-blog. ​

We are prayerfully crafting a plan for the donation of The Seed Song profits as well.
