Good morning, friends! This week, as we prepare our hearts for Resurrection weekend, I've invited friend and fellow author, Robyn R. Smith, to share a remarkable story about trusting God's Light in a physically and emotionally dark time in her life. Hello fans of Sarah’s sensational writing! It’s an honor to be with you today. In discussing how I might best serve you—Sarah’s followers—with my own writing, the topic of the crucifixion arose. (No pun intended, but not a bad one! 😉) One incident in my life resembled the trust required of Christ’s followers at the time of His crucifixion. It’s a true story, though sometimes I have trouble believing it myself. That’s what life with the Holy Spirit is like, I guess. I pray God blesses you through this, too. Stress defined our lives. My husband was five years unemployed after a painful split with a relative/business partner. His debilitating depression required my rejoining the workforce after homeschooling for more than two decades, and I had recently come home to foreclosure papers on the doorstep.

What darkness is surrounding your life today? Is God asking you to trust Him to lead you through it? Hit that reply button - let me know how I can pray for you this week. From my heart to yours, Sarah |
